In Division Two of the Sportsworld North Northumberland League, Belford extended their lead at the head of the table.
However, they were made to work hard by a determined Hedgeley Rovers, who trailed by a single finish at half-time.
Belford added four more in the second half with Stuart Keys (2), Fraser Tait, Chris Hay and Neil Jefferson all on the scoresheet.
A top-against-bottom clash in Division One saw no surprises as leaders Lowick United ran out comfortable winners against Berwick United Reserves.
Two goals apiece from Colin Young and Karl Chapman and single strikes by Andy Burgon, Anthony Murray and Jamie Punton made up the Lowick total.
In Division Two, Bamburgh netted three times through Darren Egdell, Stephen Campbell and Johnny Love against Springhill.

In the only other game played, efforts from Darren Burn and Colin McLelland took Lynemouth Institute into the semi-finals of the Bilclough Cup with victory over Alnmouth United.

Elsewhere, Craster Rovers did themselves a favour as strikes from Stephen Watson, a David Hogg penalty and a Bryan Murray finish gave them victory at Hedgeley Rovers, whose single scorer was Mark Watson.

But it was a significant result, with Belford taking over at the top of Division Two with a 3-2 win at Springhill.
David Jardine notched twice for the home side, before Ryan Lillico pulled one back for Belford. But two late goals from Kevin Greshon meant Belford took the three points - and the No 1 spot.
In Division Two of the North Northumberland League, Bamburgh Castle took a four-goal lead against Wooler thanks to a Jack Nicop hat-trick and a Daniel Johnson finish.
Wooler, however, staged a late comeback to net twice through Luke Strangeways and Stuart Bertram.
In Division Two, Lynemouth Institute were too strong for Craster Reserves as Lenny Lansbury helped himself to five goals.
